What is Dual Language Immersion?

Dual Language Immersion (DLI) is an educational program where students learn academic content in two languages: English and Spanish. The goal is to help students become bilingual, biliterate, and bicultural while meeting the same high academic standards as all students.

In DLI classrooms, students learn to read, write, speak, and think in both languages. Whether they are native English speakers, Spanish speakers, or bilingual from the start, DLI helps all students thrive.
