December's Character
Trait is SPIRT

School spirit is emotional support for one's school.  Spirit can be shown in different ways like using school colors in dress and decoration, participating in school activities, attendance at athletic events, or in the form of chants or cheers.  School spirit could also extend itself to taking pride for one’s school--keeping it looking nice, clean, and helping to improve the school for future generations of students.  We appreciate all of our staff, students, and their families that show spirit for Roosevelt!

Artful Learning Comes to RMS!

Roosevelt Middle School is an Emergent Leonard Bernstein Artful Learning School.  This video documents portions of our staff training in August, 2017.  In this video, you'll see teachers' hands-on learning of the Artful Learning sequence: Experience, Inquire, Create, and Reflect.  Also depicted are teachers learning about and practicing some of the Arts Based Skills and Strategies that all students can look forward to experiencing at Roosevelt Middle School.  We are so excited about this year and everything Artful Learning will bring for our students!  Enjoy the video!
